MS (Psychology)

MS Psychology is a two-year degree. It aims for a comprehensive understanding of the discipline of psychology and provides quality education to students. The students are trained for high-quality, socially relevant, and cutting-edge education in the field of psychology.

Program Objectives

Program aims to:

  1. Develop advanced theoretical knowledge of psychological principles and human behavior.
  2. Cultivate professional development by integrating knowledge from key areas of psychology.
  3. Build skills in advanced research methods, data analysis, and academic report writing.
  4. Inculcate ethical responsibilities in practicing psychology for human well-being within diverse environments.

Program Outcomes

After completing this program, graduating students will be able to:

  1. Apply advanced theoretical frameworks to understand human behavior.
  2. Synthesize knowledge from key areas of psychology to enhance professional practices and interpersonal skills in real-world settings.
  3. Design research studies, analyze data, and produce clear, structured academic reports.
  4. Practice psychology responsibly, exhibiting ethical decision-making while emphasizing well-being and respect for diversity.

Admission Criteria

  • 16 years of education in a relevant subject.
  • BS in Applied Psychology / BS in Behavioral Sciences or MSc Psychology / MSc Applied Psychology with 2.50 CGPA out of 4.0 or 60% marks (1st division for the annual system).
  • GAT / University entry test with minimum Aggregate score of 50.
