At the Department of Arts and Media, we are committed to training and empowering our faculty and students to embark on a professional journey of discovery, exploration, and sonic adventure together while fostering a sense of community and connection through the power of radio. Foundation University Islamabad established FM Radio 101.8 Voice of Youth in 2017 to provide valuable hands-on experience to our students in broadcast journalism and infotainment.
Built in line with commercial FM radio setup, the FM 101.8 Voice of Youth is equipped with the latest broadcast technology, gadgets and facilities aimed at providing professional learning and development opportunities for our students in audio production, script writing, anchoring, editing and content creation. Through the FM radio channel, our students have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world scenarios, honing their skills in audio production, content creation, and audience engagement.
