Abbreviation: PhD Management Sciences

Objectives:

• To cultivate a high level of research competence among doctoral scholars, enabling them to conduct original and impactful research, as thought leaders, in various areas of business administration.
• To develop critical thinking and analytical skills in doctoral scholars through broadening and strengthening the theoretical depth in the business administration
• To inculcate effective communication skills enabling doctoral scholars to pursue careers in academia and industry.

Scope:

• A wide range of students in Pakistan wish to pursue PhD in the field of ‘Management’.
• Internationally, there is an extreme need for students (both in academia and industry) with doctoral degrees in the field of ‘Management’.

Eligibility:

• 18 year equivalent degree in business or relevant discipline duly recognized by HEC.
• Minimum 3.0 CGPA or equivalent.
• Clearance of admission test conducted by FUI.

Note: Applicants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned above to be considered for admission to the program; however, meeting these criteria does not guarantee admission.

Duration:

• Minimum: 3 years (6 semesters other than summer semester)
• Maximum: As per HEC policy

Note: Specializations in PhD programs are completely dependent on the thesis (research work) and course work. The supervisor and the BOF decide the student’s Area of Specialization from the above-mentioned areas.
