First International hybrid conference on media and communication studies was organized by the department of arts and media on 28th Sep 2022. Media plays its constructive role by communicating information about politics, health, society, economic, religion and human rights, technology etc. to influence and educate society by presenting the true picture of these issues.

Chief Guest 

Chief guest was Major General Nasir Dilawar Shah, HI (M), (Retired), Rector Foundation university Islamabad. Major General Nasir Dilawar Shah, is a graduate of Command and Staff college Quetta and National Defense university Islamabad. He has served as Military secretary to Prime minister, Director General Anti- Narcotics force and Director General Inter-Services Intelligence, Islamabad.

Professor Dr Zafar Iqbal Professor / Dean FSS International Islamic University, Islamabad. Ph.D, Post Doc (UK) was the Key note speaker.

• Second session was chaired by Professor Dr Shabir Hussain Associate Professor, Media Studies, Bahria University, Islamabad. Guest speakers Mr Amir Sultan, senior Journalist, Istanbul, Turkey and Mr Bilal Waraich, Solicitor of England, Wales, Radio Producer, Presenter of radio and TV shows, UK joined us online.
• Third session was chaired by Mr Irshad Ahmed, Ph.D scholar Govt. And Public Policy NUML. Islamabad. Guest speaker for this session were Mr Abdullah khan and Associate professor Dr Zeti Azreen Ahmad, Senior Lecturer, International Islamic University Malaysia who joined us online. 
• Last session was chaired by Mr Rashid Farooq RIMS, Riphah international University, Islamabad. Guest speaker for this session was Ms Saima khan, Chairperson, and founder of Suffah Educational welfare Foundation, Public speaker, Counsellor and educationist.
