MoU Signing Ceremony between Foundation University Islamabad and Meezan Bank Pvt Ltd
Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) and Meezan Bank Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 11th July 2025, to promote academic and professional collaboration in the field of Islamic Banking and Finance. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Qaisar Ali Malik, Acting Director FUSST, and Mr. Zulqarnain Haider, Vice President, Shariah Compliance Department, Meezan Bank, on behalf of their respective institutions. The partnership focuses on capacity building for FUI faculty through specialized training programs conducted by SBP-NIBAF and IBA-CEIF.
As part of the initiative, Meezan Bank presented a grant of PKR 0.5 million to support these training efforts. Both institutions expressed a shared commitment to strengthening partnership through joint events, student engagement activities, and internship and employment opportunities for FUI students.
