Zarnab Kausar is a Lab Engineer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering Technology and a researcher specializing in artificial intelligence, computer vision, and image processing for healthcare applications. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology from the Foundation University School of Science and Technology with distinction, and is currently pursuing her MS in Biomedical Engineering. Her work centers on the development of AI-based approaches for analyzing hand gestures and recognizing sign language, with an emphasis on applications in assistive technologies and rehabilitation. Her research interests include hand pose estimation, sign language interpretation, and multimodal data fusion, and she has contributed to research in these domains.
