Mr. Waqas Noor is a dedicated academician, project management professional, researcher, and industry practitioner with expertise in Software Engineering, Project Management, and Enterprise Systems Implementation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and a Master of Science (MS) in Project Management, reflecting a strong interdisciplinary background that combines technical knowledge with managerial competence. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), demonstrating internationally recognized expertise in project planning, execution, monitoring, and successful project delivery. He started his professional career with PwC, where he gained extensive industry experience by working with multiple national and corporate clients on enterprise solutions and digital transformation initiatives. During his tenure, he specialized in SAP Project Systems (PS) Module and successfully contributed to four major SAP implementations in Pakistan, including projects for Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO), Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), Riphah International University, and Transworld. His practical experience in enterprise resource planning, project systems, business process integration, and organizational automation has strengthened his professional profile in managing large scale projects and technology driven business solutions. In 2022, he joined Foundation University Islamabad as a faculty member, where he has been actively involved in teaching, mentoring, curriculum support, and academic development. His teaching interests primarily include Project Management, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Strategic Management, and Research Methodology. Alongside his teaching responsibilities, he is also serving as the Coordinator of the Technology and Innovation Department, contributing to technological advancement, innovation driven initiatives, and academic industry linkage activities within the faculty. In addition, he serves as the Probation Coordinator for the Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS), where he manages and supervises probation related academic matters and has successfully handled numerous student probation cases through academic counseling, performance monitoring, and policy guidance. Since 2023, he has been pursuing a PhD in Management Sciences, further strengthening his academic and research capabilities. He has participated in 2 international conferences and has 6 research publications in recognized academic journals and conference proceedings. With a strong combination of academic exposure and corporate experience, his professional interests include Project Management, ERP Implementation, SAP Systems, Digital Transformation, Technology Management, Academic Administration, and Organizational Development, and he remains committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry through practical insights, technological expertise, and research driven knowledge.
