bio=Dr. Aziz Ur Rehman Rana is an experienced academic and educationist with more than 25 years of professional experience in higher education. He holds a Postgraduate degree in English Literature from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan. He later earned an MS in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from WIU, USA, broadening his expertise in the field of information systems and technology. He further completed PhD in Marketing from Foundation University Islamabad.\nDr. Rana began his academic career in London, UK, where he gained valuable international exposure to teaching and academic practices. He has been associated with the FUSST at Foundation University Islamabad for over 22 years, contributing extensively to teaching, research, academic development, and departmental administration.\nDr. Rana served as the Head of the Department of Technology and Innovation. In this role, he actively involved in curriculum development, academic leadership, and fostering an environment that promotes innovation and interdisciplinary learning.\nDr. Rana is deeply committed to the advancement of education and strongly believes in developing students into competent professionals and responsible members of society. His teaching philosophy focuses on combining theoretical knowledge with practical insight, encouraging critical thinking, ethical awareness, and professional responsibility among his students.\nDr. Rana has been diligently serving as the Evening Session In-Charge since 2012.  He has been demonstrating strong leadership and organizational capabilities in overseeing all aspects of the evening academic operations. He is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the smooth conduct of MS and PhD classes, while effectively managing both academic and administrative matters. His role involves close coordination with visiting and regular faculty members, timely resolution of issues, and maintaining discipline and efficiency within the session. Through his commitment, professionalism, and attention to detail, Dr. Rana has significantly contributed to the effective functioning and continuous improvement of the evening programs.
