Dr. Hadiqa Imtiaz is an archaeologist and academic professional specializing in archaeology and heritage studies, holds M.Phil. in Asian Studies and M.Sc. in Archaeology (with distinctions-Gold Medals) from the Taxila Institute of Asian Civilizations (TIAC), Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. With extensive experience in teaching and research, she served as a Visiting Lecturer at Quaid-i-Azam University and the University of Chakwal. She has also worked as a Research Associate on a Higher Education Commission (HEC) funded NRPU project titled “Archaeological Excavations at the Iron Age Cemeteries in District Chitral”. Dr. Hadiqa Imtiaz is actively engaged in academic publishing and editorial services, serving as a Member of the Reviewing Board for the Springer-published journal Built Heritage and as a Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Asian Civilizations. She has authored multiple research articles in national and international journals and has presented her work at various academic conferences. Her research interests encompass archaeology, bioarchaeology, cultural heritage, built heritage, and tourism, with a particular focus on heritage preservation and sustainable development. Recognized for her academic excellence and research contributions, Dr. Hadiqa continues to contribute to the advancement of archaeological research, heritage conservation, and capacity building aligned with national priorities and global academic standards.
