I am Umar Farooq, a passionate professional in the field of Tourism and Hospitality with extensive academic and real-world experience in the hotel industry. Over the past five years, I have worked in Front Office and Food & Beverage operations, gaining hands-on expertise in delivering exceptional guest experiences. My work combines practical industry experience with in-depth research, focusing on enhancing tourism practices and promoting sustainable development in Pakistan.
- I have completed my MPhil in Tourism and Hospitality. I am also a Gold Medalist in my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Malakand, Department of Tourism and Hospitality, reflecting my strong academic performance and commitment to excellence.
My primary research area is sustainable tourism, with a focus on exploring how tourism development can be aligned with environmental conservation, cultural preservation, and socio-economic benefits for local communities.
