Prof. Dr Qaisar Ali Malik is an academician, researcher, consultant and trainer in the field of Accounting & Finance. He holds PhD in Management Sciences with specialization in Accounting & Finance. He also holds Fellow Membership of Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan. His passion to contribute towards developing a better society through teaching and research, brought him towards academia in 1998. He joined Foundation University Islamabad as Senior Lecturer in 2002. He received his M. Phil in 2009 and PhD in 2013. He has been recipient of Gold Medal and Certificate of Merit for his outstanding performance in M.Phil. He holds over two decades of extensive academic, research and allied experiences in the higher education sector. He has been teaching diversified courses in areas of accounting and finance from undergraduate to post graduate levels in leading business schools of Pakistan. He has presented and published his research in several national and international reputable conferences and indexed journals. He is HEC approved PhD supervisor and has been extensively involved in research supervision and evaluation at MS & PhD level. His core theoretical, professional and practical interests are in the areas of Financial Reporting & Analysis, Cost Management & Analysis and Corporate Finance Decisions. He is also the author of a book, and the Chief Editor of Foundation University Journal of Business & Economics. Social media takes most of his spare time.
