Komal Zahra is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at Foundation University Islamabad. She is also a PhD Scholar at the Taxila Institute of Asian Civilizations, Quaid-i-Azam University, with academic specialization in Archaeology and Asian Studies. She holds an M.Phil. in Asian Studies and was awarded a Gold Medal in MSc Archaeology, reflecting her strong academic background. Her research interests focus on cultural heritage, archaeological surveys, and ethnoarchaeology, with particular relevance to heritage tourism and sustainable tourism development in the Punjab region of Pakistan. She has published in several peer-reviewed national and international journals, demonstrating active engagement in scholarly research. Her academic and fieldwork experience in documenting historical sites and monuments contributes to a deeper understanding of cultural resource management and its application within the tourism and hospitality sector. In addition to her research contributions, she has teaching experience at multiple reputable institutions and has participated in archaeological excavations and surveys at significant heritage sites across Pakistan.
