Dr. Urwah Ali is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Foundation University School of Science and Technology (FUSST), with over 18+ years of academic, clinical, and research experience. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), graduating with distinction. Her core research areas include grief, trauma, bereavement, and posttraumatic growth, with a strong emphasis on culturally sensitive mental health practices in the Pakistani context. Utilizing qualitative methodologies such as Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) and Reflexive Thematic Analysis, her work explores complex experiences including suicide bereavement, parental grief, and the role of spirituality in coping.
Dr.Urwah Ali has an established publication record in internationally indexed journals and actively supervises postgraduate research. She has contributed to professional training through workshops on psychodiagnostics, anxiety, and grief counseling. Her work is recognized for integrating clinical insight with research innovation, aiming to advance indigenous psychological knowledge and improve mental health outcomes at both national and global levels.
