Rana Khattak is a dedicated lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering at Foundation University Islamabad, where she has been teaching since 2016. Currently pursuing a PhD in Information Security at MCS NUST Pakistan, Rana holds an MS in Computer and Communication Security from SEECS NUST Islamabad and a BS in Computer Science from UET Peshawar.

Rana's research interests include Information Security, Network Security, Data Mining Techniques, Federated Learning and Privacy preservation. Her work has been published in several international conferences, including INMIC and FIT.

She is passionate about problem-solving related to Cryptography and Network Security. Rana has also completed various online certifications in cybersecurity, enhancing her expertise in network security and database vulnerabilities.
